[01:33] <vega13> how did you guys started to contribute to ffmpeg..?
[01:37] <iive> vega13: improve something generate a patch and send it to the ffmpeg-dev maillist.
[01:38] <ubitux> broke something, feel prood, show it to mailing-list
[01:39] <ubitux> proud*

[13:39] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 07eb3dc2370512: mov: Make sure no streams after the header lack a timescale.
[17:22] <kcm1700> I've been struggling with stream segment( http://ideone.com/NrOHP5 my first try, got "Tag avc1/0x31637661 incompatible with output codec id '28'" ), and found the cause. https://github.com/kcm1700/VideoSplitter/commit/24da35545d0201a82cfab14a6332081909e3b8d2 this is just a monkey patch to do my work, but is this right way to do?
[17:23] <kcm1700> should mp4 encoder allow codec_tag avc1?
[17:29] <kcm1700> hmm, maybe adding ff_codec_movvideo_tags to ff_mp4_muxer can help solving the problem?
[17:49] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 07fd4f4923cce6: alac: fix nb_samples < order case
[17:49] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 073920d1387834: alac: fix integer overflow leading to subsequent out of array accesses.
[19:46] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 07b53f89710b03: alac: Check channel indexes more completely, fix out of array accesses.
[19:46] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 072d71f31df239: lag_read_prob_header: fix out of array access
[20:48] <ubitux> anyone has any comment on adding the "margin" option to the tile filter?
[20:48] <ubitux> as Nicolas pointed out, it can be achieved with a pad filter
[20:48] <ubitux> but adding that option to the tile filter is pretty free
[21:27] <michaelni> ubitux, if one is easy to use and the other is hard to use, pick the easy one
[21:27] <michaelni> otherwise no comment from me
[21:29] <ubitux> both are relatively easy to use
[21:29] <ubitux> tile=margin=10 vs tile,pad=iw+20:ih+20:10:10
[21:30] <ubitux> as i said in the mail, you likely want to add easily some margin when using some padding between tiles
[21:30] <ubitux> so i think it's better to have them "close"
[21:31] <ubitux> and really, margin option is just basically an AVOption entry and two mathematical additions :p
[22:15] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Nedeljko Babic 07304a1ed1e864: mips: Add dependencies on HAVE_INLINE_ASM
[22:15] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 07a150bad4062a: lavfi/avcodec: check avfilter_copy_frame_props() return code
[22:15] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 0747ca2487ae88: lavfi/avcodec: check that injected avframes use a supported channel layout
[22:15] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Michael Niedermayer 07a1e093a6fb32: alac: fix bps check
[23:15] <cone-856> ffmpeg.git 03Clément BSsch 07e56b0984103b: lavf/srtenc: ignore invalid timed packets instead of failing.
