webm streaming

Hi, I hope this is posted at the right place. I would like to enquire if there is any interest for an ffmpeg patch to (I think) the matroska muxer so that it would allow for live webm streams. The Matroska spec mentions it is possible to have live streams, given the stream is a little altered. Gstreamer has such a patch in place. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Best, Dirk

Hi! QuickTime specification states for v210 that: Each line of video data in an image buffer is padded out to the nearest 128 byte boundary. Ticket 743 contains some evidence that not all applications are following this recommendation. Unfortunately, I cannot play (any) v210 samples with QuickTime, so I cannot test if our interpretation of the specification is correct. Please review, Carl Eugen

FATE wmv8_x8intra.wmv sample?

Hello, it seems we have a file wmv8_x8intra.wmv in fate-suite but no test runs it? The issue with that is that the MPlayer regression tests use it and the result changed. Since FFmpeg doesn't seem to test it I now have no idea what to do about that (result looks fine as far as I can tell, but that does not have to mean much). Any suggestions? Reimar

[PATCH] OpenEXR decoder

Hi, Here is my stab at a OpenEXR decoder. It only supports 16-bit and 32-bit float. 8-bit integer is in theory supported aswell by the format, but I have yet to find software which supports writing it, but it should be quite straigthforward to implement aswell, but didn't want to touch it since I had nothing to test with. The 32-bit float path is very slow (about 60x slower than the 16-bit path) and not optimized in way yet. -- Best Regards Jimmy Christensen Developer Ghost A/S

[PATCH] af_mix: mix two audio streams

Hi there, Here is a first attempt to write an audio filter which merge two audio streams. Usage is: ffplay -f lavfi "amovie=test1.mp3[a];amovie=test2.mp3[b];[a][b]mix=0.7:0.3[out]" The volume of each streams can be configured and default to 0.5:0.5 is not specified. It only support two s16 audio streams with same sample rate. Feel free to comment. Matthieu
