I think you should be allowed to commit trivial things without asking. It would make no sense to make the policy for the soc tree stricter than for the main tree. -Vitor

Definitely. Updates, comments, fixes, etc... are fine to just apply to SoC tree. It's the large changes to the E-AC3 decoder or AC3 parser that involve design decisions and significant modifications that I would like reviewed first. -Justin
