First, running ffplay on a video (color space detected as yuvj420p), the output looks washed out (too white). Second, when transcoding a video to H264 (which keeps the color space as yuvj420p) the output looks too dark. Forcing the color space to yuv420p, the output looks fine. Third, when transcoding a video to MPEG2 (which changes the colorspace to yuv420p), the output looks fine. I also tried, because of the '-Waggressive-loop-optimizations' warning, to compile with '-fno-aggressive-loop-optimizations' but that didn't change anything either. What's interesting, though, is that when I enabled THUMB support (-mthumb) compilation completes without any issues and I get a perfectly functioning FFMpeg. This is because it passes NULL to snprintf() somewhere. 2. ffmpeg erreneously includes the port number as part of the domain name for cookies, if the port number is included in the URL. For example, I was testing with the URL "http://localhost:10000/", and cookies for "localhost" were ignored. Using "localhost:10000" as domain name in the cookies string works, but I believe the port number should not be part of the domain name. Both are versions of FFmpeg, modified to different degrees. Both have libx264 compiled in. No source code for either is available anywhere, nor is FFmpeg's license shown anywhere on the site or in the program as far as I can see. The lead developer seems to believe that he doesn't have to distribute the source for some reason, and won't listen to me regarding it.
