#4888: 62bd8deef causes a regression in HEVC decoding / hevc needs support to skip initial corrupt frames -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: Ståle | Owner: (none) Kristoffersen | Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: important | Component: avcodec Version: git-master | Resolution: fixed Keywords: hevc | Blocked By: regression | Blocking: | Reproduced by developer: 1 Analyzed by developer: 0 | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Changes (by Balling): * resolution: => fixed * status: open => closed Comment: Fixed after bc1a3bfd2cbc01ffa386312662af8a014890d861 "I would always get a good looking thumb, but with this patch I would for the most part get a mostly gray frame." So #9412 is a dup. Old behaviour cannot be restored with -flags output_corrupt the file will be different. And also "If I re-run the last command with -vframes 100 it generates 60 images, where image 18 is almost identical to the before_patch1.jpg, except a bit more blocky." It now only does 43 images. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/4888#comment:10> FFmpeg <https://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker
