Please understand that this is a bug tracker, there is a user mailing list for support. Does {{{configure --enable-libzvbi}}} succeed and {{{make}}} fails? That would indeed be a bug. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/3290#comment:1> FFmpeg <http://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker

I just want to know if i need to use a third party library for comiling using --enable-libzvbi ? but if i remove --enable-libzvbi the code comiles without any issues. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/3290#comment:2> FFmpeg <http://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker

This is the intended behaviour if you don't have libzvbi (including its header file libzvbi.h) installed on your system.
I just want to know if i need to use a third party library for compiling using --enable-libzvbi ?
Definitely.
but if i remove --enable-libzvbi the code compiles without any issues.

No, building external libraries is outside the scope of the FFmpeg project. Please allow me to repeat that there is a mailing list for user support, this is a bug tracker. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/3290#comment:5> FFmpeg <http://ffmpeg.org> FFmpeg issue tracker
