Dear all I'm getting errors when I tried to convert some .3g2, .mp4 files to SWF format. The output listings are given below. Please suggest me some solution. Hello I am running ffmpeg on a debian. Strange intermittent crashes in bswap_32 (bswap.h)

I have written a player that uses ffmpeg to decode MPEG4. Generally it works fine, but every now and then I get crashes that look like: Instruction at 0x6cc7cd61 referenced memory at 0x01b53000 - could not be read Instruction at 0x6cc7cd61 referenced memory at 0x01b1f000 - could not be read Instruction at 0x6cc7cd61 referenced memory at 0x01b1c000 - could not be read Instruction at 0x6cc77e73 referenced memory at 0x01aff000 - could not be read According to the debugger, in all these cases the inline function bswap_32 is being called (some times from ff_mpeg4_decode_mb and some times from h263_decode_motion) I know this sounds like I'm corrupting memory somewhere but I don't think that I am. My program is multi-threaded. Thread 1 decodes frames and adds them to a FIFO Thread 2 dequeues them, calls img_convert() and displays. Any Ideas? Converting 3g2 to flv is failing..

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can give me a hint for how to resolve this error "Unsupported codec (id=86043) for input stream #0.1". I am able to convert the file without audio (using -an).. mpg to flv produces no audio

Greetings, I have googled abit and also done some poking at the ffmpeg to try and solve this and i'm just stumped. I am unable to succesfully get a .mpg file converted to a .flv file with audio. The video works just fine but there is no audio track. Is there a specific option I need to enable at compile time? If anyone can point me to some documentation or has any ideas I would really appreciate it! Hi all, Lets say i am using ffmpeg library to help me in encoding videos using WMV2, FLV and H263 codecs. The software i am writing is a commercial product. Is there any issues on using those codecs on the videos i had produced? Appreciate any advice and links to useful articles.

Selecting audio stream for input

I am trying to convert a VOB stream (Pixar's Bug's Life) into a .mp4 stream, but: The VOB files have got six streams (five for audio and one for the video). This is the mapping: 0x80 - Audio - AC3 / 6ch / 48kHz / DRC / English / LBA: 29 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: 0ms 0x81 - Audio - AC3 / 6ch / 48kHz / DRC / Deutsch / LBA: 30 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: 0ms 0x82 - Audio - AC3 / 6ch / 48kHz / DRC / Espa?ol / LBA: 31 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: 0ms 0x83 - Audio - AC3 / 2ch / 48kHz / DRC / Norsk / LBA: 32 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: 0ms 0x84 - Audio - AC3 / 2ch / 48kHz / DRC / Dansk / LBA: 33 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: 0ms 0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 / 720x576 (PAL) / 16:9 / Letterboxed / LBA: 1 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: 0ms The output could be smoothly playable in mplayer, VLC or the like...any free mediaplayer. I would like to extract 0x82 (spanish) in order to create a .mp4 with audio in spanish. The question is: How do I tell ffmpeg to decode that one (and *only* that one)? If nothing is told, ffmpeg creates a .mp4 file with audio in english which comprises only the first .vob (around the first twenty minutes of film). Which leads to another question relating to video: Since I have got vts_01_x.vob files numbered from 1 to 6...How do I join them in order to create a single .mp4 clip for the whole movie? I tried ffmpeg -i vts_01_1.vob vts_01_2.vob vts_01_3.vob vts_01_4.vob...up until vts_01_6.vob, but when ffmpeg finishes encoding the fist .vob, it terminates. No more vobs are added.
