Hi All, i am new of these conversions. i need how to convert one format image to different other formats using ffmpeg. whether ffmpeg supports batch processing.. for EX: Like i have image.jpg by using ffmpeg ffmpeg -i image.jpg -o image.gif image.png image.psd son on... like that please any one help..? Encoding SWF files using audio codec CODEC_ID_ADPCM_SWF

Hello newsgroup! I want to create SWF files, therefore I am using output format "swf". I also want to add a audio stream so I am using CODEC_ID_ADPCM_SWF. But this codec cannot be opened, because of wrong codec parameters (bit rate, sample rate or something like that). No my question is: Does anyone know which codec parameters can be used for CODEC_ID_ADPCM_SWF? Or is it better to use MP3 as audio stream for SWF files? Are there any problems when using MP3 with SWF output format? Thank you lot for your suggestions! Sincerly Lars

Segmentation fault in converting 3gp to mp2

Hi all, I am converting a video from 3gpp to mpeg format. ffmpeg interlace support

Hi Does ffmpeg really support interlaced output? The problem is that ffmpeg doesn't accept the "-interlace" option (although documented in man page). Is there way to encode an interlaced video into mpeg2 for dvd writing? ffmpeg not properly handling bitrate (-b) arguments

Hi. First post here - the threading may or may not work, as I'm responding to a message in the recent archives, not a received email. I joined the list to find an answer to this very question (what's up with the -b and -bt parameters?), but looking through the FFMPEG SVN logs I think I found it. It seems the units have changed from kilobits/second to bits/second, so you have to add a 'k' at the end (e.g. "-b 350k"). Looks like FFMPEG just ignores absurdly low bitrates like 0.35kbps. Note to the developers: warning messages and documentation are good. -Alan

Mpeg2 TS support by ffmpeg library

Hi to all I have built a program that takes a yuv sequence (300 cif files) and makes an mpeg2 TS out of them, but when I play it with VLC the video (stream) is not appearing smoothly. Also, I have read somewhere that ffmpeg doesn't yet fully support the mpeg2TS generation. Is this true or I can use it with no hesitation and try to fix my code? Hello, I want to convert a .3gp file to a .flv I've seen on Internet that this is a common problem, but I'cant find a solution. I get a . flv file twice as fast as the original and with no audio, I don't know how to fix this, does anybody knows a solution? sorry bout my english... Here's the line I execute... WMV Encoding

Hello. I'm attempting to work with the WMV encoder and things aren't going so well. I'm not quite sure if there are certain settings to be set that would make the video "correct". Anything I've tried comes out with the video being really lagged (in Windows Media Player and DivX player at least). A few seconds will play, then the video will freeze while the audio continues. Here is the command line that I'm using: ffmpeg -i INPUT.avi -f asf -vcodec wmv1 -acodec mp3 -b 1600 -ab 128 -ar 44100 OUTPUT.wmv Anyone with experience that can lend some help would be appreciated. That seems a little absurd....but I think the documentation is not clear enough at this point, in my opinion.
