Hi, I want to include amr library in ffmpeg. Help with Vorbis encoding?

I am hoping someone can help me figure out Vorbis encoding. The following command: ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -ab 96000 output.ogg ..seems to ignore the -ab. I see that there is -aq, but I can't find any documentation for it? It's clearly not using the -q-1 through -q10 that Xiph.org specifies. Also, is it possible to use the old encoder instead of the new native one in ffmpeg? I have --enable-libvorbis and --enable-libogg, but I only see "vorbis" in the codecs. Thanks!

Hi! I'm just wondering, now that the PS3 has been released in Europe too, if anybody has started optimising ffmpeg for the Cell? Is gcc's current Cell support any good? I've heard their is a non-free IBM Cell compiler which is much better. Would ffmpeg libs compiled with IBMs compiler still be freely distributable? dan

Hi all, I'm new to ffmpeg and i'm trying ti use this tool. When using it, it seems that there are some problems in the dependencies. Two warnings or errors appear in the result of a command : /usr/bin/ffmpeg: /usr/lib/libtheora.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libavcodec.so.51) Compiler did not align stack variables. Libavcodec has been miscompiled and may be very slow or crash. This is not a bug in libavcodec, but in the compiler. Do not report crashes to FFmpeg developers.
