timescale change problem

Hi all, I have created video using ffmpeg. When i use this video to join it with some other video using mp4box, timescale is not not matching. I tried changing it with mp4box option option -fps it is not changed and in video track i need to change Visual Size 320 x 240 - Profile High @ Level 5.1 to Profile High @ Level 3. How to change it? how to put dvb subtitles stream in TS

Preserve Bitrate, Framerate, etc

Is it possible for FFmpeg to preserve the original file's bitrate etc? I read about -sameq but as far as I read anything about it, it will only use the same quantizer.

AVC Multislice in ffmpeg

Dear all, I just check the latest version of ffmpeg. It can be compiled with the x264 having multislice support. But I don,t see that there is a parameter of ffmpeg which corresponds to the slices parameter of the underlying x264. I wonder how I can manipulate this paramater via ffmpeg Thank you Son

Rough Transitions when joining MPEG clips

Hi All, When I play back mpeg clips joined with cat command there are freeze frames when playing back at clip transitions. First thing I do is cat mpeg clips to a file? cat c1.mpg c2.mpg c3.mpg > movie.mpg and use ffmepg to remux the new mpeg file ffmpeg -i movie.mpg -acodec copy -vcodec copy -y out.mpg Is there any thing we can do to remove the rough transitions at clip boundaries and allow for a smooth play back. converting flv

I am trying to converet a flv to another format, in this case mp4 althouth i would be happy with a variety of formats. The problem is that it only converts the first 7 minutes of the video, while the video is actualy over an hour and a half long. Any suggestions on what I might try to get this to work? We are creating clips from a live stream using ffmpeg in linux machine. The file brand that is created is isom v512. We must convert the file brand to mp4v2 . Does ffmpeg support mp4v2 codec , if so what is the syntax used to convert the file brand.
