Live stream to periscope or youtube doesn't seems to work

Hello, How should be done 10 bit encoding? 1. By selecting -profile main10 or others like * main10, main10-intra * main422-10, main422-10-intra * main444-10, main444-10-intra or by selecting 2. pixel profile as yuv422 10le etc.. In either way it does not work. best regards, George Nistor

I am using cuvid and nvenc to encode videos, i encouter videos with a vertical green line at the end. The video size is 854x480. Sending Patches to the Dev List

Hello, on Monday I send a little patch for the *vf_blackdetect.c* filter to the dev list, but I don't got any response. I don't wanted to sound impatient, I just want to know that I did everything right. One thing is to, that my patch is not shown here: https://patchwork.ffmpeg.org/project/ffmpeg/list/ so I though maybe I did something wrong. For generating the patch I use *git format-patch, *send-mail is not working on my computer, so I send the patch as an attachment. I send the patch from gmail, is this a problem? Is there something specific, I need to know about sending the patch per mail? (yes I read the page step 6: Submitting patches). Capturing video using ffmpeg in source format

Hi, We want to capture the 4K video without ffmpeg scaling the video to 4K. The input signal is at HDMI 4K and the capture card is a 4K card. We want to capture the video without scaling introduced by ffmpeg to 4K i.e. if video stream is HD then HD video capture, if the video is 4K then 4K video would be captured. Hence I prefer to use this command: ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -i /dev/video0 -start_number 1 -vframes 250 -c:v mpeg4 -qscale:v 1 test1.avi I am using SuSE Sled 12, kernel 4.4.73 kernel version. FFmpeg - C compiler test failed

Can I repair with ffmpeg a mp4 file where the moov atom is not found ?

Hello ffmpeg-community, I want to know if it's possible to repair or to convert a mp4 file where the moov atom is not found ? I tried to find all the internet for a solution but I didn't found nothing, also tried to solve it with various apps. I read something that is possible to copy the moov atom from a same source mp4 file tot he broken one but I don't how it works really. I thank yo indeed for a solution. Greets sado

How do I use ffmpeg to stream webcam to http:// and file? - Attempting to record the video and audio of one stream (a local webcam) to both a filename and a server.
