FFMPEG sample example does not work!

Dear community, I am doing a video processing project with opencv and I have to read and write video/audio streams with ffmpeg. I found the ffmpeg-output-example useful, but I had a tough time to update it (I don't know the code is not updated while some parts of the code is deprecated!). A Python AWS Lambda zip with OpenCV + FFmpeg?

Hi Guys, I have this question on Stack overflow, someone here knows if with *AWS Lambda *I can use *FFmpeg* + *OpenCV*, I talked with a guy from Amazon, he said that I have to compile all environment in a Amazon Linux, I compile the entire *Python 3.6*, FFmpeg and OpenCV. Stopping FFmpeg automatically when no UDP packets are being received

Hello, I am writing a program in which I am using a udp stream as an input and outputting a simple .ts file. I am using this command within the program: ffmpeg -i udp://239.0.0.1:1234 output.ts However, when I stop receiving packets, I want ffmpeg to stop running. Otherwise, it blocks the rest of the program. I read about different ways to make the command run in the background, which would be fine except the next part of the script uses the output file to do other stuff. So, is there any way to make ffmpeg stop automatically when udp packets stop arriving? And if there isn't a "conventional" way to do it, do you know of any workarounds? Cheers, Victor

Crop 4K Video into Four 1080p Videos?

Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to use ffmpeg to slice 4K video into a set of four 1080p videos and do it without scaling. I have experimented with using the -s size option before the input, but I have not found a way to offset the position for cropping the video. This also might require rotating the output videos by 90 degrees. I would appreciate any advise on this. Thanks, Clay

crop filter, how to move crop rectangle along the y-axis ?

Hi, I wish to have the crop retancle to move from position 200 to 400, when 4 seconds are laps. Movie with two video tracks

I am searching for a movie file with two or more video tracks to test my viewer. If the movie is in 3D stereo pairs, much better. Can someone point me to a sample? Thank you very much in advance.
