Duplicated frames warnings when processing video after pipe concatenation but not when processing source files

Hi list, First of all, thanks to the ffmpeg developers and community for this awesome software. I'm using a two-pass workflow, where I pipe concatenate source files in the first pass, then trim and process the result in a second pass. I am not changing framerates. If I apply an ffmpeg command line to process a raw MTS file from a camera, I do not get "More than 1000 frames duplicated" warnings during processing. However if I combine MTS files using pipe concatenation, e.g. ffmpeg -i concat:"./00000.MTS|./00001.MTS" -codec copy ./00000.mp4 then run the same command line on the mp4 result, I get plentiful duplicate frame warnings. I'm using Jon Van Sickle's statically ffmpeg, to wit, ffmpeg-git-20180216-64bit-static/ffmpeg from https://www.johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/ The command line is: ffmpeg -i ./00000.mp4 -to 3:31 -c:v libx264 -preset:v medium -profile:v main -tune:v film -s:v 640x360 -c:a aac -b:a 80k -ac 2 -ar 24000 -level 3 -strict -2 -copyts -ss 1:29 ../final/20180220-1.mp4 The rendered video appears okay, but I would like to understand what is occurring before running a larger rendering job. ffmpeg high CPU usage

I am trying to stream to YT by using a live Icecast radio stream and converting it on the fly. Whilst I have this working, the CPU overhead is simply ridiculous and I suspect there's an error with my usage. I would hope that someone could advise further. This is my config: ffmpeg -loop 1 -r 1 -s 624x352 -i image1.png -i http://radio.strictly.house:9500/stream -c:v libx264 -x264opts keyint=5:min-keyint=5:scenecut=-1 -preset ultrafast -crf 1 -c:a copy -shortest -pix_fmt yuv420p -f flv rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/ge7a-2059-1v3e-bv2t #</dev/null >/dev/null 2>/var/log/ffmpeg.log & Thanks in advance

Couldnt send a video from ffmpeg on Windows to an ffserver feed on Linux

Hi all,I want to do a video stream from a Windows machine but ffserver is not avaiable for Windows, so I started a ffserver service on a Linux machine (Ubuntu 16.04) and tried to send the video from the first to the second. FFMPEG Signature Error

Hi, I was reading the FFMPEG manual and one function interest me. This function is called “Signature”. I downloaded the last FFMPEG build static and I read the doc inside the .rar. There is two examples given, we have : “To calculate the signature of an input video and store it in signature.bin: ffmpeg -i input.mkv -vf signature=filename=signature.bin -map 0:v -f null - To detect whether two videos match and store the signatures in XML format in signature0.xml and signature1.xml: ffmpeg -i input1.mkv -i input2.mkv -filter_complex "[0:v][1:v] signature=nb_inputs=2:detectmode=full:format=xml:filename=signature%d.xml" -map :v -f null –“ The first one currently works, I took one .mp4 video, and I got a signature.xml. But the second one doesn’t work. I would like to know if this is normal or a bug, if anyone has the answer. Hi, my question regarding the problem is basicly the same as in this mail https://ffmpeg.org/pipermail/ffmpeg-user/2017-March/035541.html but there was no solution yet. We need to convert MXF OP-1b to DNxHD so that our Avid Media Composer will be able to handle the files. Media info and console output below. Thread message queue blocking: when pipe and use filter complex

Hello, when I use pipe to ffmpeg in combination with *filter_complex overlay, *I always get the message: Thread message queue blocking; consider raising the thread_queue_size option (current value: 256) It doesn't matter how big I raise the thread_queue_size, the message comes son or later. I try also the fifo filter for both inputs, but after some time the message comes again. problems concat combining videos

Hi, I have 2 mp4 files, that look perfect when played individually. I then used ffmpeg "concat" to put them "back to back" into one mp4 file. In the output file, the audio is perfect. No issues. The problem is the video. Only the first video looks perfect. The second visible is not visible--it became "blocky" after the concat: [image: Inline image 1] Any clues what is going on? I tried a million combinations of command line args but no luck. ./ffmpeg -f concat -i files-list.txt -c copy output.mp4 Thanks, Henry

Jumpy Video with Overlay

Hey All, I have jerky video output when using overlay, if I output using concat the video is fine, could someone point me in the right direction please? The input is 29.97 in Mp4 from a Sony a6000 if that makes a difference, I tried it with 30 Mp4 from a GH5 and results are the same.
