v360: filling unmapped pixels with a color

Hello, In the v360 filter the alpha_mask option can be used to make unmapped pixels transparent. What's the simplest method for filling all transparent pixels with a color? Let's assume the size of the video isn't known in advance. This command line is working as expected: ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -f lavfi -i color=red -lavfi "[0]v360=e:ball:alpha_mask=1[a];[1][a]scale2ref,overlay=shortest=1" output.mp4 But it looks unnecessary complicated to use a second input, scale it to the same size, and then use overlay. Does anybody know a better solution? The job is simple: If a pixel is transparent, then fill it with a color. I know it can be done with the geq filter, but that's too slow. Michael

ffmpeg -f gdigrab

Hello I don't understand i can use the ffmpeg -f x11grab but my ffmpeg build don't recognize the -f gdigrab or the -i pulse option I think i need to reconfigure rebuild my ffmpeg but i don't know what are the library i have to add and enable with my ./configure command sorry for my poor english i am french. PNGs with transparent pixels to GIF

Does v360 filter support dewarping circular fisheye images?

I have a fisheye camera (360 degrees in horizontal & 180 degrees in vertical). Is it possible to use v360 filter to dewarp circular fisheye images to single perspective images (flatten fisheye images)? I've tried many options but the results were not as I expected. Below command is one of them: ffplay fisheye_video.mp4 -vf v360=fisheye:ih_fov=360:iv_fov=180:flat:yaw=120:pitch=0:roll=0 I've tried some examples from https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-filters.html#v360. It worked perfectly with spherical video but not semispherical video. Any advice would be appreciated. Couple of questions about GIFs

Thanks to the recent FFmpeg notes on creating GIFs. I was unaware GIFs could handle transparency at all until then. Couple of additional questions: 1 - Am I understanding this correctly: A single pixel of a GIF can either be 100% opaque or 100% transparent, no partial transparencies like you can achieve in PNG files, correct? 2 - My experience with GIFs is there is little (or no?) ability to control the quality vs file size tradeoffs. i.e. If you want a high res GIF, you necessarily will have a large file size (In contrast to, say, JPGs or MP4s where you can achieve high quality picture at surprisingly small file sizes) Is this just the limitation of the GIF format, or is there some compression or other wizardry that can be done with, say FFmpeg, to get higher quality GIFs without ballooning the file size?) HEVC trouble

PNG images to avi - transparency issue

Hello, i am trying to convert png images to avi which is working fine, but the video is not showing the background transparency (png images has) this is what my statement ffmpeg -r 30 -start_number 1 -f image2 -i "imagespath" -y -pix_fmt yuv420p -q:v 1 "output.avi" after reading from forum, i tried adding png codec ffmpeg -r 30 -start_number 1 -f image2 -i "imagespath" -vcodec png -y -pix_fmt yuv420p -q:v 1 "output.avi" then it shows the error Incompatible pixel format 'yuv420p' for codec 'png', auto-selecting format 'rgb24' so, i removed pix_fmt, then it creates video with transparency, but i am able to open this video ONLY in VLC player, not any other players supported this codec ffmpeg -r 30 -start_number 1 -f image2 -i "imagespath" -vcodec png -y -q:v 1 "output.avi" please suggest me any working method.
