breathe a sigh of relief, if yes. I did use AV01 encoding, with libaom. Not usable on my system, speedx leads to <= 0.002 (hints to improve it ?). Therefore libsvtav1 I use. The first results lead me to do further tests, I compare it with libx265 encoding. Different parameter, crf, tune (further parameter ?)- Further hints to make the comparison complete (tune 1-3, crf < 13, ..., 780p, 50fps, an example I can upload). My intention, compression without visible less. Regards Richard

Problems using openclsrc source filter.

Hello. I wanted to experiment with the openclsrc filter. I've been able to resolve the issues with initializing the opencl device but I still can't use the device. I've attached the shell script, kernel (from the documentation) and the output log. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Attempting to extract channel 2 audio from mxf file

Hello, New to the list, my first request. Hello All, I am attempting to extract channel 2 audio from a mxf file recorded using a Canon C200 video camera. I will be recording an event, soon, with audio from two different sources. Channel 1 will be the primary, but there is likely to be audio on channel 2 that I would want to incorporate into the final video production. My computer system is Linux and I use Openshot for video processing. Openshot does not support multi-channel audio directly, uses channel 1 audio by default – but, I can add audio tracks when creating a final video. I would be able to add channel 2 audio as appropriate. I have researched ffmpeg, trying several different suggestions, to find the correct syntax to extract the audio from channel 2, to no avail. My test mxf does have 2 channels of audio, for certain – I used 2 microphones and switched off the two sources, independently, to test as I was recording audio and watching the audio metering on the monitor. Hello , I can't find a working syntax for segmenting an input.mp4 file by 30 minutes duration. According to the documentation ffmpeg Documentation<https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-all.html#segment_002c-stream_005fsegment_002c-sse…> , the correct syntax must be ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -c copy -map 0 -segment_time 1800 -f segment output_%03d.mp4 but every syntax I try (additional parameters or less parameters) leads to same error message : [mp4 @ 000001eea55f6840] Invalid segment filename template 'outputC:\Data\bin\Split_Mp4_30min.cmd3d.mp4' [out#0/segment @ 000001eea55cb480] Could not write header (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid argument Where C:\Data\bin\Split_Mp4_30min.cmd is the full filename of the conversion batch file calling FFMPEG. I've tried different releases of FFMPEG and different syntax. All lead to same error. (other trial : ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -f segment -segment_time 1800 -segment_format_options movflags=+faststart out%03d.mp4) Can someone explain me with %03d is replaced by running filename ? Regards. error running freezedetect: Late SEI is not implemented

When running freezedetect on the file 21feb360.mp4 I receive numerous times the error "Late SEI is not implemented." Following the suggestion which was automatically provided with this error message, I have uploaded the file 21feb360.mp4 to https://streams.videolan.org/upload/ The file 21feb360.mp4 contains numerous "frozen" frame sequences which are frozen for the duration of 2 frames which is the shortest possible duration for a sequence of "frozen" frames. My objective is to count the total number of "frozen" frame sequences in this video file. I am a little uncertain about the function of the freezedetect function because the documentation for this function seems to be incomplete as provided here: https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-filters.html#freezedetect In particular, I was wondering how I could ask the freezedetect function to detect sequences of frozen frames that last for less than 1 second in duration. It seems that d=1 might have the effect of detecting frozen frame sequences that are less than or equal to 1 second? I appreciate any information you can provide to help me understand the below output. I assume that every instance of the "Late SEI is not implemented" error might represent another sequence of frozen frames, but I am not sure. I hope uploading this sample file 21feb360.mp4 might be of some help to the ffmpeg project. setpts filter has no effect

Hi there, I'm generating hls streams with ffmpeg and I want to set the first frame of video for all streams with a static pts. This can be zero or anything else, as long as it's the same value for all streams. But my attempts to use the setpts/asetpts filters to achieve this haven't been successful. Why isn't the setpts filter working as I expect it to? 2. Why does the pts of the first frame default to 126000? 3. Given that a consistent pts value of 126000 would work fine for me, as long as I can be confident that it will never be anything else, can I rely on the first frame pts always being 126000 if I omit the pts filter altogether?
