Possible wrong Audio Bitrate in video with wmav2-audiocodec
Hi, I have a problem with the ffmpeg -i command. It prints out: $ ./ffmpeg -i "c:/test/1 Anti-Theft.wmv" FFmpeg version SVN-r6287, Copyright (c) 2000-2006 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration: --enable-static --disable-shared --enable-memalign-hack --enable-mp3lame --extra-cflags=-I/local/include --extra-ldflags=-L/local/lib libavutil version: 49.1.0 libavcodec version: 51.25.0 libavformat version: 51.6.0 built on Dec 6 2006 12:07:35, gcc: 3.4.5 (mingw special) Seems that stream 1 comes from film source: 1000.00 (1000/1) -> 15.00 (15/1) Input #0, asf, from 'c:/test/1 Anti-Theft.wmv': Duration: 00:00:31.6, start: 3.000000, bitrate: 564 kb/s Stream #0.0: Audio: wmav2, 16000 Hz, stereo, 16 kb/s Stream #0.1: Video: wmv1, yuv420p, 320x240, 15.00 fps(r) Must supply at least one output file It says that the audio-stream has a bitrate of 16 kb/s, which sounds much too low. I have extracted the audio stream into a mp3-file with 16 kb/s and it sounds very low-res. the original video sounds much much better. Do you have any idea if this is a problem or a bug? The video has a size of about 2mb. I can send it as an email. many thanks and regards alex
