It is my understanding that FFmpeg does nto currently export to Flash 8. Is there any word on if someone is currently working on this?

If you by flash8 mean flv files with the vp6 codec then no, if you mean flv files with the meta header then code for it has recently been comitted to svn. MvH Benjamin Larsson -- new tiny signature

What is commonly referred to as "Flash 8 video" is more correctly called "video encoded with the On2 VP6 codec." This codec is proprietary, and as far as I know, nobody has created an open source encoder for it yet. Too bad, because On2 just jacked up their prices considerably. -jsd-
