i have managed to successfully compile ffmpeg under msys/mingw32. i decided then to enable vhook support on ffmpeg but unfortunately, ffmpeg with vhook enable cannot be compiled under msys/mingw32. i read that cygwin could do it. - my first configure line that i used to compile ffmpeg under cygwin is ../configure --enable-memalign-hack --enable-static --disable-shared --disable-network --extra-cflags=-mno-cygwin --extra-libs=-mno-cygwin i wanted to see if ffmpeg would compile without vhook under cygwin there were some error during the make process and i had to patch the following: -
