Hello, I have downloaded and compiled ffmpeg 0.4.9-pre1 with --enable-mp3lame support. I have also setup a capture card in Linux using the bt848 driver. Now I now the card works because I can use it under xawtv and palantir for broadcasting. I want to use ffmpeg for broadcasting live video / audio. I am trying the examples from the documentation but it is failing no matter what I do. I start the server by: ./ffserver -f doc/ffserver.conf & - which starts with out any problems. Then I run: ./ffmpeg http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm - which fails with: ffmpeg version 0.4.9-pre1, build 4753, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard configuration: --enable-mp3lame built on Apr 28 2005 14:31:27, gcc: 3.4.3 20041212 (Red Hat 3.4.3-9.EL4) Input #0, video4linux, from '': Duration: N/A, bitrate: N/A Stream #0.0: Video: rawvideo, yuv420p, 352x240, 15.00 fps Input #1, audio_device, from '': Duration: N/A, bitrate: N/A Stream #1.0: Audio: pcm_s16le, 22050 Hz, mono, 352 kb/s Output #0, ffm, to 'http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm': Stream #0.0: Audio: mp2, 22050 Hz, mono, 8 kb/s Stream #0.1: Video: mpeg1video, 160x128, 15.00 fps, q=3-31, 64 kb/s Stream #0.2: Audio: mp3, 22050 Hz, mono, 8 kb/s Stream #0.3: Video: msmpeg4, 352x240, 15.00 fps, q=3-31, 256 kb/s Stream mapping: Stream #1.0 -> #0.0 Stream #0.0 -> #0.1 Stream #1.0 -> #0.2 Stream #0.0 -> #0.3 [mpeg1video @ 0x82e59fc]only YUV420 is supported Error while opening codec for output stream #0.1 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height Why is this not working ?
