I installed ffmpeg today using the second link here : [cid:1f10180b-4ee8-41d0-af82-3e651989419d] and was surprised to see my antivirus (Panda Dome) putting ffmpeg in quarantine when I ran a command.

It's false positive. AV software rely on heuristics and they occasionally do flag ff* binaries. Regards, Gyan
