Hello, I would like to introduce my colleagues to ffmpeg. None of us are very experienced with it yet, so I wanted to organize a short training session. Do you have any tips for a good training course or resources beyond the official documentation? I was thinking of focusing the training on “streams.” If you had to learn ffmpeg again today, what would you definitely learn first? --Martin Martin Griegoleit System-Management Swisslos Interkantonale Landeslotterie Lange Gasse 20, Postfach, CH-4002 Basel phone +41 61 284 11 11, direct +41 61 284 13 18 martin.griegoleit@swisslos.ch<mailto:martin.griegoleit@swisslos.ch>, www.swisslos.ch Swisslos auf Facebook: [cid:facebook1731174668122217547216720470381226844017_548c647c-f598-47c0-85a7-11769d450884.png] <http://www.facebook.com/swisslos> [cid:marketingbanner1990327938_18092025_1d1a47ec-f14a-4b9b-b4ce-7b7b6df13113.jpg]<https://www.swisslos.ch/de/skillgames/big21/big21.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=signatur&utm_campaign=big21> The content of this e-mail is intended only and solely for the use of the named recipient or organisation. You may have seen it already, but from the documentation page [1] there's a page on 'books and external resources' [2] which includes books, which might be useful in the training you are putting together. One of the books is written by a regular contributor to this mailing list :) Cheers and good luck, Rob [1]: https://ffmpeg.org/documentation.html [2]: https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/BooksAndOtherExternalResources

Jan Ozer's books and courses are great sources for FFMPEG and streaming training. I started with that years ago.
