I am sorry, but as for a minor - but still nonetheless a - contributor of 
ffmpeg, could somebody clear this question up for me: what did Rich do in 
ffmpeg again, that grant him a veto power in ffmpeg development? Of course if 
developers agree with him, than this question has less practical relevance as 
of now. Still, I had to ask...
