yes you can do that if you like to
though some points of the todo list are unclear and iam not sure what we
should do with them, maybe move them over and mark as invalid :)

also theres still the tracker at sourceforge with 94 feature requests
and 26 bugs these as well should be moved over (minus trash and duplicates)
after that ill close the sf trackers
