the regression tests did not always pass with --enable-pthreads in the past
The 2 differences you see do not use any scaling or colorspace convertion thus
i would suspect that this is the old bug and has no relation to swscale

If they fail reliably for you, then you should be able to debug it much
easier than me, because it didnt fail reliably for me last time i tried.

You could for example figure out the minimal command line at which the
difference between --enable-pthreads and no --enable-pthreads still
happens.
