I think it is useful, since not *all* the API changes breaks API/ABI
compatibility, this happen usually only for major bumps and the
immediately following API changes.

But I agree that we should mark *all* such changes (for example also
lavu 50.0.0 and lavu 50.0.1) or no-one.

So what's the preferred way?
