Well to say it all... I don't give a 5H17 at using third person vs. impersonal form,
and that's not a question of linguistical competence, it's not me that designed that rule.

There is not the evidence of which form is preferable, projects tend to use
one form or either in their docs, most of the time they randomly mixed them up (and so we
did). Javadoc/Java recommends the impersonal form, and I believe they at Sun don't lack
language/English experts.

I'd even slightly tend to prefer the impersonal from, but the point here is about consistency,
the rest looks just like a bikeshed.
