It happened to me more than once in $dailyjob to have the need to
download $oldpackage, and then spend hours blaming and trying to
figure out where the developers digged them.

If you want to decrease their accessibility, we could hidden them in
second level page (Old unmaintained releases), but would be useful to
make them still accessible from the website. Alternatively, mark them
with a huge bold "DEPRECATED AND UNMAINTAINED".
