You can work around the missing alloca symbol by linking with libgcc.a, 
which (assuming your Mingw installation uses gcc 3.2.3 and is installed 
under C:\MingW) is located under:

C:\MinGW\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\3.2.3\libgcc.a
