[Ffmpeg-devel] [patch] START/STOP_TIMER for ppc32

I just grabed some example code and put it in the common.h, thanks to
Matthieu for pointing out out that simpler method.

It should more or less work fine.

The PMC support will follow later since it requires a init step that
doesn't fit in the common.h

My plan is just to support instruction count, L2 and L1 cache miss
count, cpu cycles count and probably some statistics about the VPU if
they are meaningful.
