And you call us (me) arrogant??

It's bloat if it's extra crap cluttering the buildsystem and making it
hard to read and maintain.

You already said it's possible to manually merge the binaries with
'lipo' if you could just cross-compile, so why not do that? Why should
every single program on the planet make special accommodations for mac
developers' opinions of their users' stupidity?
