[Ffmpeg-devel] Help-Could not find video grab device

Uhmmm... I am wondering why you sent the same message two times...

Anyway, in the previous email I failed to see that you are using a
webcam, and not a regular video capture card. There have recently been
some messages about webcam issues on the mailing list.
If you search the mailing list, you will find some patches that
hopefully fix your problem (anyway, you still have to specify "-s
<dimensions>" to grab some video).
