[Ffmpeg-devel] error building the dll on windwos

Hi, 

Do you mean MinGW is correct? 
I am using MinGW but when I try and do configure without --disable-static I
get told I can't make two different versions of the library at the same
time.

The configure works fine with  --disable-static but the make fails. Perhaps
a problem in the head CVS?

I belive you are using MinGW and not M$ build tools. For me it worked
just fine with:

$ ./configure --enable-shared --enable-memalign-hack
$ make

(without --disable-static)
