[FFmpeg-devel] How to extract the video frame size from the container

I am new to ffmpeg.? I nned to manipulate the source video data before transcoding.? I need to know the source video frame size.? I am wondering if there is any ffmpeg option (or function call) to extract the video frame size from the source container?
