Heh I wish :) I actually dont know much about sparc, what registers each
instruction can use, and dont know anything about scheduling either.

If some compiler had decent support for the VIS intrisics form I might
give it a try, but last I asked (in 2003) I was told it sucked.
I dont have a sparc for testing, either.
