I'm using Slackware, so I don't have to deal with the
missing "-devel" RPM problem that is such a pain in
the ass with Fedora Core.

I did not realize it was an external library. I
thought it was part of ffmpeg. I got it from
sourceforge, and have put it in. I'm rebuilding ffmpeg
with it, and will experiment with it, and document the
results. 

The documentation should probably indicate that it is
an external package.
