[FFmpeg-devel] [PATCH][0/4] extend protocol API with stream control functions

These patches that extends the protocol API with a few streaming control
functions similar to the read_play(), read_pause() and read_seek()
functions of demuxers. This is needed for correct MMS seek and pause
functionality.

It was discussed earlier [1], but it was decided to do the dynamic
ByteIOContext changes first, so that this (and future additions) won't
break the ABI.
