Agree. This braindamage of assuming everyone has 160-column terminals
is just as braindamaged as the windows-idiot-centric web design
principle of "optimized for NNNNxMMM!!!" Of course once the web
designers figured out that columns of text wider than a certain number
of characters (roughly 80) weren't readable, they filled the rest of
the screen with spam and sidebars rather than giving it back to the
user for other tasks...
