I checked the samples from mphq on my x86 machine.

garbled sound:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/ActivisionLogo.bik
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/AnivisionLogo.bik

no sound:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/logo_legal.bik

(seemingly) correct sound:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/logo_collective.bik
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/logo_lucas.bik
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/ATI/

some crackling:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/original.bik

This one possibly is another file format:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/diablo2/d2xmusic.mpq

This one is not demuxed correctly, but the filename puzzles me:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/game-formats/bink/ATI/ATI-9700-Animusic-Movie-v1.0.bik--append.this.to.complete.bik
