or some other am* file from there, though not am02* as there's a known
bug with those at the moment.

You can benchmark with something like:

time ffmpeg -i am01_48.mp4 -f null /dev/null

I think. Test as you would expect (5 reps with each) and publish the
results. Unfortunately they're short files so it may be difficult to
get a good result from it though Alex seems to manage.
