I am not the maintainer.  I do work on it from time to time though.
the more interesting patches there (mangle stuff) are not from me.

some other patches are for rtunes support, which I was told was not
wanted in mplayer (not by mplayer people directly, but from rtunes
maintainers) and libsndio, which is still in development.
