I'd prefer it like that, though I have to admit I am not actually using
the feature. If it really can cause problems, I guess it would be
preferable to have it an option, so if you have some time to waste maybe
you can think of a nice way to handle this :-).
Maybe even a more general way would be nice, I think I remember that
there is some container format that has a "creation time" field that
some people would like ffmpeg to use...
