Sorry, I forgot to answer this one. The data can be recorded using MSN 
Webcam Recorder, aMSN and Mercury Messenger. IIRC, aMSN and Mercury 
Messenger record their files with .cam or .stream extension.

There is a sample at [1]. I sent the guy an e-mail last week asking if 
we could move that sample to mphq, but never got a reply. I assume it's 
ok, since he put the file up for download anyways...
