I still think this is not acceptable.

If you wrote that code, you have copyrights for it (if you want them or not).
You may release the code in the public domain (imo, this is even possible in
Central Europe), and that is ok for us afaik, but there is no "FFmpeg
developers" that could enforce the copyright that seemingly exists (see the
first word in the line).
