Thank you for the answer and the ideas. I'm obviously not aware of the
entire FFmpeg internal structure, that's why this patch is not the
appropriate solution.

I will probably consider implementing something like an icy-demuxer as
you suggested - once I'm finished, will be back again. FFmpeg is a part
of my home-project in which a netradio is implemented for entertainment
and music listing/ripping purposes, and in my case mostly MP3 and AAC
netradio streams are found.
