The idea behind the  *GPL is to allow users to freely modify and redistribute
programs. This clearly is not the case here, either every user has to buy
the sdk / toolkit and compile themselfs, an action surely unreasonable to
expect from an average user of a mobile phone,
or the developer who modified the code needs to
get apple to sign it, something that apple can and does refuse in some cases.
