[FFmpeg-devel] encode video

Hi,

I am newbie to ffmpeg. I want to encode the video in mp4 format. I have
sequence of images in my application. Can I use libavcodec(or any other)
library from ffmpeg to encode the video. I don't want to use ffmpeg command
line application, justr want to use encoder came with ffmpeg, is this
possible? How? If any document is available please let me know.
