Maybe when you find some time you can look at these issues:

http://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue1727 (no HAM/EHB support, some IFF ILBM files decodes incorrectly)
http://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue1796 (IFF ILBM - bad aspect ratio with FFplay)
http://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue1589 (IFF 8SVX stereo with compression - sounds wrong)
http://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue1427 (IFF 8SVX stereo uncompressed - too fast playback)
