IC, thanks. Well, I could run the FATE from time to time, but I would 
appreciate it if someone knowledgeable would save me the time to figure 
out the "whats" and "hows" and give me a short explanation of the 
cross-building of a fate-capable ffmpeg repo, which ./configure options to 
add, what I have to manually configure or additionally download and 
install, etc.
