[FFmpeg-devel] ffserver rtsp bug fixes

Hi All,

I am new to the media and streaming media world.
I am trying to stream H263 and AAC content over RTSP using ffserver and
ffmpeg
When I try to play the content I get the error "*AAC with no global headers
is currently not supported*".  When searching for a solution I
came across the post

I modified the local ffserver.c code according the mentioned changes, hoping
to resolve the issue.  But now ffserver refuses to start and throws the
following error: "*[h263 @ 0x806d430]only YUV420 is supported*".   I tried
using mpeg4 as video codec and got similar error message.

I do not understand much in that error.  Can someone please help me resolve
the issue?

Also, I could not find the PATCH changes, browsing the GIT repository of
FFMPEG.  Is there any plan to commit these changes?  Or I did not look in
correct location?
