Hi, this fixes at least:
ffplay -loglevel debug in.avi -vfilters "scale=600:300, hflip"

without the patch the image displayed is stretched.

BTW, we should provide some way to request vf_scale/libswscale to
*actually* stretch/deform the image in input.
